Women Empowerment

We are working on women empowerment projects. Main goal of the project is to strengthen the role, influence and participation of women in development programmes, to ensure that they get their due benefits. We give special focus on single women, dalit, adivasi and women with disabilities. We work to reduce violence against women.  We organize awareness generation programmes and depute para- legal workers for training.

We established women sanghas in our 25 target villages for reducing violence against women with the support of Christian Aid through Gramya. We are working in 22 villages of Konijerla and Bonakal Mandals in Khammam district and 28 villages of Maripeda and Mahabubabad Mandals in Mahabubabad district.
